Efficient catalog creation at PB Swiss Tools

Initial situation

PB Swiss Tools has been developing and manufacturing tools and medical products in uncompromising Swiss quality since 1878. The products are precise, durable and reliable and are valued by professionals worldwide. The company uses the crossbase software solution to manage, maintain and provide product information to a correspondingly high quality standard.

Procedure

The annual product catalog was again created with crossbase, as the solution enables a high degree of automation. The well-trained employees at PB Swiss Tools create a total of five catalog variants based on a basic catalog. The automated processes support the workflow considerably.

The catalogs are aligned in two languages to support the company's international orientation. Translation management is also carried out via crossbase, reducing time and costs.

To facilitate access to product information, the catalog was published as an interactive flip page catalog together with partner OSG GmbH. Users can access the corresponding product page in the PB Swiss Tools online catalog via a link to the respective EAN number of a product. This is continuously supplied with structured product information from the crossbase PIM system via an API connection. The data is therefore always up to date and can meet customer requirements.
